Zircon ram & patch
Refractory ramming and patching mixes
Zircon Ram is supplied in a semi-dry condition with a moisture content of approximately 5% for installation by pneumatic or vibration methods. It has excellent performance in contact with molten metal, slags and glass.
Examples of Applications:
Used in the foundry industry to line ladles and launders. Used in the glass industry to line glass tanks and furnace bottoms behind the bricks or blocks which are in contact with the molten glass.
Zircon patch is a high strength, chemically bonded patching material with a higher moisture content for both hot and cold repairs. Suitable for repairs to silica, alumina or zircon refractories, especially to repair the crowns and superstructures of glass furnaces
